    Default *HUGE* e680i annoyance.

is it just me, or is it COMPLETELY IDIOTIC that when you set your phone to VIBRATE the phone RINGS if its plugged in????????? i charge my phone at night, i leave it on vibrate.

getting a pocket-dial at 2:40AM waking myself and my girlfriend up does not make me happy.

can this completely fucking STUPID bug be fixed?

im so tired of this phone.

Every motorola switches Vibrate profile to Loud Ring when it's plugged in. It's not a bug. Acctualy, it can be disables but I'm not sure if you can do it on EZX.
This seem edit disables USB charging in Modem mode, thereby disables profile switching.

    @dreemkill

I think you are not truly motorola fans here...
Don't ever insult you phone or buy other brand...
There is nothing wrong with your phone...

Besides that, all motorola phone being set like that so that you know you are charging the phone you idiot... not only e680i but other model as well...

next time... when you want to charge you phone... just turn it off... it is that simple... moron... hahahahahahaa...

haha, it is not a bug. thinking! if you put your e 680i on the table and charge, if it vibrate, it can fall down to the ground. and at night, the sound of vibration can wake you up.
you can disable antenna when you charge at night, it's better

This is not a bug...it's part of all motorola phones....imagine ur phone vibrating while charging...contact may be lost and the phone may not charge...

its acutally can be fixed by editing the vibrate.pts in ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup
get rid all of the sound file or change volume to 0

thank you, finally an intelligent response.

i dont understand how people feel its normal and okay for a phone to just take it upon itself to change ring tone settings simply because its running on AC. if i put it on vibrate and plug it in at night, i want it to STAY how *I* PUT IT. not change it because it feels like it. turning the antenna off or whatever else people suggested does not make sense. im not saying i dont want someone to be able to send me an SMS or call at night, i just want things to stay the way that I set them.

    thank you

for your information... this is MOTOROLA not NOKIA...

if you treat this phone like NOKIA... of course it won't do like you want it to do... noobs....

I agree with you, deys82. People are used to Nokias and when they get something more sophisticated they get lost in its potential But it is not our problem.
