Hi cma353, i did exactly as u showed, however when i made dial no thing happened with my phone (there is not any confirmation "OK" appeared at the phone) any after 1 minute the computer tried dial up again ang again... I made something wrong ?
I think it is the binding problem between your phone and bluetooth dongle. You may download the readme again and see 3(a) for the binding steps. (I have already updated it for you)

Thanks for reply. My laptop has not built inside bluetooth, i'm using thus USB bluetooth divice (IVT Corporation Bluesoleil). Maybe that's why yr 3a. step is a little different. Binding PC-Phone i think is ok because i can transfer data between them. However there is no action on my phone after dailing up from PC (must be confirmation "OK" at the phone). Where have i made the mistakes ?.
I'm sorry lara, I have already tried to find the solution on the IVT chipset for some days, I give up to use it finally... Because I can do nothing on it's driver..

What's pity ! Thanks anyway. Btw what kind of USB bluetooth device (with which chipset) u recomend for me ? I want to try yr app.

    Dear lura,

Good news for you , I have already tested and successed to use internet over bluetooth with IVT chipset by the following IVT application. You may try to download from (http://www.ivtcorporation.com/downlo...ase_060728.zip)

    * its important to find out the com port which will connect to your phone. I'am tired to write the step la... sorry.. (Hint: in the IVT software, choose Tools -> setting -> quick link can find the correct port which can be use to create modem)

It's OK now. I can access internet on my phone over bluetooth. Could u tell me how to setup IP(primary and secondary) and port for the browser (opera) ? Without setting up these parameters i can't go on any site through this browser. I can use only the programs which need connect to internet (ex. Meteo ...). Thanks.

    Dear Lura,

You don't need to setup the primary and secondary IP address. For using the Opera, you have to create a new profile in opera and set the profile to use the "fake" connection.

I did it many times without result before asking u for help. Something wrong but i don't know where. There is my settings for OPERA:

    - Profile name: internet over bluetooth
    - Primary gateway IP: 0.0.0.0 (no setting)
    - Port: 0 (no setting)
    - Secondary gateway IP: 0.0.0.0 (no setting)
    - Port: 0 (no setting)
    - Homepage: wap.yahoo.com (i tested another waps too but without effect)
    - Network link: fake GPRS (name of profile set up at Data network)

Pls show me where i made a mistake. Thanks.
Ps. One more interesting thing that internet connection is already established immediatelly after running btppp_start.sh (no need to run MackInetBt.lin)

I think you have to run the MackInetBT.lin, otherwise you can not ping to internet from phone. You may try to verify by telnet to phone and ping to internet.

For the opera setting, the network link name should be "fake"

I can browse the net from my E680i phone, use my PC internet connection on Linux over bluetooth, usb as modem, or usblan mode but have no idea how to do that on Windows.

    @cma353
Can you make step by step instruction how to connect to the net over usb in Windows? Everyone who have no bluetooth dongle will appreciate your help. Thank you.

I have conectivity pack in *.mpkg and *.mtf format for phone with native mpkg installer enable. Contain leopardus ppp conectivity, mack nat and inet connectivity, and usbmode.

@cma33: The problem is browser ! After installing mini opera (java app) this problem is solved. U're right, the MackInetBT.lin should be run in order to make environment for internet. The name of network link's profile however can be anything as u want, it needn't be called exactly "fake". Thank for great app and patient.
@blackhaw: I dont see the sense of browsing internet over usb lan. U have phone and PC so near (on the same table) so it's more convenient when we do it on the PC. Internet over bluetooth is acceptable solution for replacing wi-fi in a short distance. And for e680 which has no wi-fi this is an ideal solution. Thanks again cma33 !
