anyone step by step E680 > E680i guide?

Hi,
can anyone be so kind as to compile a step by step guide to teach beginners how to flash E680 to E680i? maybe sticky the thread?

yes. i need that too. i try reading all the other post about flashing my phone but have no idea what everyone is taking about.

basically u just have to DL a few files...probably yhe whole package...
next u upzip and install PST...when it asks you to restart dun do it...instead go ahead and use the patch program 1st...make sure u patch everything.


thereafter you do a restart...put ur phone into modem mode and plug it in...windows will say it's detected something...select "Install from list or specific location" and point it to ur PST directory...do so for all the detected devices (there should be more than 1)


then fire up "multiflextool.exe" found in the PST directory...unzip and load "E680I_G_0D.C3.A8P_0D.B0.B1P_T674VE_L001_S001_P006_GSOE680IT674VE006_full.shx"
make sure you phone is detected and appears in the list @ the bottom.
Click on start...and let it finish

If you want to telnet into the phone there's an extra step u have to accomplish...after clicking on start and letting it run...it'll get to an "erasing" part...once there overwrite "E680I_G_0D.C3.A8P_0D.B0.B1P_T674VE_L001_S001_P006_GSOE680IT674VE006_fullCG33.smg"
, which should be in the same directory as where you have extracted the original firmware (E680I_G_0D.C3.A8P_0D.B0.B1P_T674VE_L001_S001_P006_GSOE680IT674VE006_full.shx) , with the one in the package...let it continue to flash after...(make sure you have overwritten it properly...windows will popup a window asking you if u want to overwrite the file). Thereafter when u want to telnet...just extract the attached file to you main folder in your SD/MMC card.

my advice to u... if u are not very fluent already with 680 , dun play ard with flash
u may lose some data... maybe worse things may happen?

unless u arevery unhappy with 680...

anyway its not a must to flash to 680I

can i reversed back from e680i to e680? if like im not satisfied with e680i....

i did try to flash, but it say THERES NO DEVICE DETECTED, i already turn the USB to Modem...

seriously, i heaven touched e680i yet so i can't help. the firmware is released just after i reached ciarns so theres nothing i can do lol

i give up. i dl all the files(470 some mb). found the pst thing but do not know how to install it. do i install it into my computer or into my phone. i try both and both does not work.
