Can anyone help me to setup mail on E680i for Yahoo mail
in your yahoo account click on options and then check the settings for pop3
there they'll give you the necessary info

incoming: pop.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
user: {your Y! username without @yahoo.com}
pass: eh? what is it?
@gaixixon
where do you input those information? where in e680i? thanks
it says host host not found after inputing all fields.
does it matter what teh port is? my outgoing had 25recieve had 110.
also what do you input where it asks for meail in Send setup? does nickname have to be filled in?
yes, it does.
I'd tell you the specifics but I don't remember them right now
If you go to your yahoo mail account and click on options and then on pop3 setting it will tell you all of it
and at least one of the ports is different (five hundred something)
it also requires some sort of authentification activated
Hey, I just find out: We need to pay yahoo money to do all this
actually no you don't
I don't know how but I've been doing it without money using outlook express for years
POP works on old accounts (by old, I mean older than several years).
I have a Yahoo account - but was made sometime in 2000 - it doesn't have POP on that.
My friend has it for ages - that has free POP.
In short - if you can't get it to work, pay for it... which I'm sure many (or most of us) aren't ready to do, unless they already have a subscription.
yah, me too. i got my email 4 years ago and i cant use outlook for yahoo. instead i can send emails when im using smtp of my ISP but sad to say sending isnt possible
