a little bit confusing for me.... ehm

My Phone is originally from E680, but now I already flashed it to E680i with C5AAP firmware. And now, I wanna to flash it to AEP, and I have already this ammunition :

1. Firmware C5AEP
2. CG35+CG36 by sandman (with my respect )
3.ThreeSearch_C5_AA_to_AE_patch_E680_unicode_gaintable_startup_acm attach_bash2_backupnative_neo_ezxdialog_switchfont_2.0.zip

What else should I need, I think it's enough ya?

So, I can flash firmware directly with Chienk CG33 (mentioned above), and afterthat I flash with your CG35+CG36.

Is that correct? Are these the same files used by you?? You don't use "E680hack" by Silvio right?

But, many of us who flashed to AEP suffer that picsel viewer doesn't work, but sandman said it works.

Could you please tell me, why is this happen? And btw, I see that you are using CG33 other than Chienks CG33 in vllp.sourceforge?

Sorry too much question, and I think the only thing to solve this problem is trying to flash to AEP by myself and see the difference :d.

I'm just curious, abselutely... hehehehe....


And please, I want picsel viewer... what CG should I use in order to make picsel viewer work... peace....

cg 33 from chiennk have bug so viewer not work you use cg 33 from ccmove it ok

ok...news for all, ive fixed the bug in cheinnk's unicode cg33....will be uploading it along with my cg35 version 2.0.....

dear friendz,

After 2 - 3 times flashing, finally I got C5AEP in my phone and so far my phone works fine. Picsel Viewer and screen calibration doing their best.

I just follow sandman ways to flash step by step like:

- Copy the CG35.smg, CG36.smg 7 EZX_Clean.lin from E680i_C5AEP_De-branding_sandman by Sandman to your sd/mmc card;
- for C5AEP i used E680IRohs_CMCC_No_lock_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.B8.B1P_T674VE_L001_S004_P006_GSOE680IT674VE008_full.shx, actually that shx file was the same with other C5AEP shx file;
- for CG33 and CG32, i used ThreeSearch_C5_AA_to_AE_patch_E680_unicode_gaintable_startup_acmattach_bash2_backupnative_neo_ezxdialog_switchfont_2.0. and rename the CG33.smg file to E680IRohs_CMCC_No_lock_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.B8.B1P_T674VE_L001_S004_P006_GSOE680IT674VE008_fullCG33.smg and do the same with CG32;
- I flash with it using PST, during erasing flash memory process, i overwrite the CG33 and CG32;
- After finish, just like another E680 (not i) flashing process, there will flash failed message, and off course you don’t have to be worry;
- telnet to the phone, overwrite the CG35 with CG35 from sandman by typing “cp /mmc/mmca1/CG35.smg /dev/tffsa”;
- restart your phone;
- with flashkit, flash the CG36 by sandman to mtd6 partition using flashkit by typing “flashcp –v /mmc/mmca1/CG36.smg /dev/mtd6”;
- restart your phone and now your phone already with C5AEP.

That’s what I did for my phone to be a C5AEP, so should I say that my phone already E680g?

Secondly, the debranding thing is in the CG35, because for some reason, I like the built-in ringtones and wallpapers... so I'll back them up from the AAP before flashing to AEP
