cg35 multi keyboard + multi gui version 2.0

Hi all,

I will modify c5_aap_cg35 to support multi latin based keyboards + multi gui languages. Here is the list of supported languages (keyboard + gui):

Chinese
Deutsch
Espanol
Francais
Italiano
Nederlands
Portugues
Thailand
Vietnamese

After modify, the size of c5_aap_cg35 is only 10MB. It means that we have around 1MB ~ 2MB free space in cg35. I will preload cg35 with some themes. Preload themes into cg35 is a good idea because we no need to worry about ezxlocal's size.

Please suggest which themes you want to preload?

If you can make several nice themes with iconres.ezx's size is around 400~500kb (like ardz linux theme), we can preload around 3 ~ 5 themes into cg35.

I vote for Blackhawk's "clean-series" : cleanblue, cleanpink, and cleanorange themes. They look really nice and very efficient, in terms of file-size.

Red Green Blue theme,,,
How if you create 2 kinds of CG35.
One with original themes (red blue and green) and the other without the original themes but changed with the 3 best themes that ever been created.
And I think better if they should be without on/off animation since we can change them using Intoxicated's theme manager.

yes, i support the opinion of inijohan... those r pretty slicka nd fast themes.

instead of GT3, have a look at TLinux theme. its a beauty in orange.
if possible then try to include the grey theme from A1200(as shared by intoxicated) but replace monternet icon first please.

Steps to download ThreeSearch's multi language GUI and ThreeSearch's language pack:

1. Go to http://vllp.sourceforge.net

2. Choose display language English or Vietnamese

3. Click E680i's download section

4. download one multi_language_gui (depend on E680i firmware):

Steps to install language pack (VERY IMPORTANT: You have to install language pack before install multi language GUI):

1. unzip language pack to one folder in PC

2. telnet to the phone

3. use samba to map file system on the phone to PC (right click on start button on windows PC, click explore, right click on My computer, click Map network drive, choose Z: in Drive:'s dropdown list box, keyin \\169.254.142.2\system in Folder:'s text box, click Finish button). Now the phone's file system has been map to Z:

4. open windows explorer, go to Z:\ezxlocal folder

5. create folder vllp.sourceforge.net in Z:\ezxlocal (Z:\ezxlocal\vllp.sourceforge.net). If you use thailand language pack then create another folder th in vllp.sourceforge.net (Z:\ezxlocal\vllp.sourceforge.net\th)

6. copy all the files in step1 to Z:\ezxlocal\vllp.sourceforge.net. If you use thailand language pack then copy all the files in th folder to Z:\ezxlocal\vllp.sourceforge.net\th

7. copy 7 files (ezx_system.cfg, RingLoud.pts, RingLoudV.pts, RingSoft.pts, RingSoftV.pts, Silent.pts, Vibrate.pts) in Z:\ezxlocal\vllp.sourceforge.net to Z:\ezxlocal\download\appwrite\setup

Steps to install multi language GUI:

1. unzip multi language gui (depend on E680i firmware), you will have:
c5a4_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc
c5aa_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc
c5ab_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc
config_cg35_2.0.lin
readme.txt

2. use windows explorer to copy c5a4_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc or c5aa_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc or c5ab_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc to Z:\mmc\mmca1

3. use windows explorer to copy config_cg35_2.0.lin to Z:\mmc\mmca1

4. telnet to the phone

5. in telnet screen, keyin this command to install multi language gui to phone:
#cp /mmc/mmca1/c5a4_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc /dev/tffsa
or #cp /mmc/mmca1/c5aa_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc /dev/tffsa
or #cp /mmc/mmca1/c5ab_cg35_multigui_2.0.nkc /dev/tffsa

5. wait until copy process done (about 3~5 minutes).

6. exit from telnet

7. restart phone --> you have multi latin based/Viet/Thai/Chinese keyboard + your language gui!

8. Use LinLoader on the phone, open file config_cg35_2.0.lin --> you have 6 nice themes pre-loaded. I will not tell you which themes I put in --> You need to guess.

I vote for the cloud grey theme by Intoxicated. I'm now using it as my default. I just replaced the first theme (light grey).

i had a gut feel that something bad will happen. and it did...

i've lost my keyboard. only different thing i did was... i installed this CG35 without a language pack. cuz i didnt need one.

what shall i do now?
