Overclock App?

Is it possible to convert the files needed to overclock the phone into an app?

Or can someone upload their modded VBA files so that I can upload them into my phone to use?

If so it would be very much appreciated

Why do you so eager to overclock your phone ? do you need it that bad ?

I read it somewhere that e680(i) actually use a downclocked 400Mhz bulverde. just remember the value when you overclocked the phone, it will consume your battery faster and maybe burn the phone
maybe you could pm yutian for the overclocking module.

I know where to get the module from, I just don't know what to do with it. And if I did get it working, I wouldn't know how to set the phone's clock speed back to normal.

I would like to try it to see if it will run Quake faster, and also for playing some of the games in Sega GG, the sega master system emulator, as some of the games I have run slow on it.

I know that the battery will be drained quicker, thats not much of a problem for me as I have 2 batteries anyway, but I'm also at University so I'm back in my room a lot, I can charge my phone then. I have also heard that its pretty unlikely that the phones chip will "burn", and haven't heard of anyone's phone doing so.

Well, here the app u want, do not blame me if it burns ur cpu or something... use at ur own risk

I doubt this will make the phone load faster since you have to turn the app on after the phone. But it SHOULD make the phone and its apps run faster once the app is activated (from what I understand).

From what I've read in various places that the same CPU is used at 100 (approx)mhz to 612mhz in different devices and that the CPU speed is decided by the people who make the product its inserted to. This would mean that the CPU can be set up to 612mhz without any danger to it, BUT that doesn't mean it won't adversely affect any of the components in the phone.

Remember, this is from my limited understanding
