if your phone got hanged on the boot up screen due to the failure of theme installation, you will have to flash the phone unless u can somehow manage to telnet inside..

have you tried? if you've tried and can't do it (assuming that you could do it before) then there's your answer

i'm not 100% sure, but i think if you didn't install the necessary files before this (e.g. lin loader and usbnet.lin, or acmattach.lin) then you can't telnet in now and you might be stuck with having to reflash the phone.

i suppose that if you are using an e680 (not e680i) you can get telnet access via the "at+mode=99" method w/ hyperterminal, but other than that i don't know what to tell you.

I installed this file on my E680i lin.loader and can put acmattach.lin to my sd car now via card reader and put card back if it will help I will put acmattach.lin to my sd card and try to telnet...

Also then I turn on Mobiephone tools it can see my E680i in Modem mode..

I don't want fo flash this branded C5_ABP mine is AAP unbraded deaflut..

    please help

i think it also depends on weahter or not you have your phone set up to run acmattach.lin on bootup, and for that i think you may have had to reflash at least once.

unless you can telnet to the phone, or somehow get it switched to usb storage mode (so you can clean out the offending files) i'm afraid your options are to either find the original flash firmware you have, flash with a newer firmware (and pick up some upgrades, ), or see if you can't get the Mot service center to fix it for you.
