invalid battery

I recently just bought a new OEM motorola replacement battery.... upon installation, it simply tells me "invalid battery" and seems to not be able to charge it.... I have scoured the internet looking for an answer, to only find confusion.


Has anyone else had this, if so, can you please help me out!

dude mainly this thing is shown by the phone when the battery is damaged or one of the pins near the battery socket is loosed
