If the application has been changed to the neo version, you can change its name and icon up to you.
If you installed an application manual (with edit installDB or PlugcardDB) or it's still in mpkg format so you will get "appname" for it.

yo kogan, the mpkg having 'appname' on its icon is not true. i had tried some of the mpkg file they upload in the 'Development' (etc, Restart, Theme Manager) and they display the icon and its name properly. i think they fix the issue of 'appname'. i nearly pull back the neo version of restart i uploaded. but uninstalling neo version is much easier then mpkg, that why i didn't pull the neo-version restart from the thread.
