NEW APP: change network name

not exactly right.
if i lose the signal i have to change the network name again.
i have NOT lost the signal because of name changing.

My E680i using eKonsole still error. Not working
My firmware C5 EAP 009 using Cg33, CG36 of Threesearch.

FYI:
u can change and retain new network name as long as u wish
if u turn-off / disabled the GPRS to avoid signal change from G-E-G

Thanks for the info!
Yes, i have GPRS always on.
But a signal change from GPRS to EDGE is not possible for me.
My provider has no EDGE and my A780 has EDGE not enabled.

I will check with GPRS off.

why u dont try this to make that wwspn always run without ekonsole every start...(assume your wwspn @ diska)

 #!/bin/bash
cd /diska/preload
./wwspn <your new opr name>
kill 'pidof am'

put to startup.lin at /diska/.system/startup , & change_op.lin at /diska (for lost signal).........

I will check with GPRS off.

no improvement when GPRS is off.
it also changes back to normal if the GSM signal is lost.
