    Something more generic, the lcd itself is really more useful alone
    At this time I have been using it for a little casemod, but as I said, generic is generic, maybe a secondary display of my e680 can be the next step

    yeah... i did that too in earlier time... i transformed old electronic devices into other things... ist a very intersting hobby and good fun...

    but today i only sometimes have time for doing it...
    Motorola e680 (flashed to e680i) + 4Gb SD card + HT820 Stereo BT Hedphones,
    Ubuntu 6.10 + 7.04,
    Nokia N95 + 8Gb microSD

    i broke my charger a while ago and i wanna make another one from a unused USB cable

    from the picture there i did:
    - short circuit Data+ and Data- (White and Yellow)
    - 200k Ohm resistor from Ground (Black) to ID (Yellow)
    - +6VDC to VCC (Red)
    - Ground (of course) to Ground (Black)
    #sorry i can't give the diagram

    but it does still not work T_T
    what 've i done wrong?

    if u mean solar charger,try look at e-bay bro.i already see it for e680/i...
