    Default HT820 bluetooth stereo headphones and realplayer

    Ok, I have my e680 phone flashed to e680i 1ff Firmware. The HT820 works fine when used with the phone functions, but how do you use it with realplayer and listen to the mp3s?

    The headset is bonded and everything seems fine, but when I fire up realplayer, it only plays through the built in speakers. Kinda quirky. Do I need to get that 2.5mm jack and connect it to my HT820 in order for me to listen to mp3s/videos through my headset?

    I've looked through the forums and there are some who have been able to listen to mp3s through their HT820 headset. I just want to know how to set that up. Please help.

    once paired, before opening realplayer, you need to connect a2dp first. pairing only connect the headset profile.

    1. pair/bond
    2. bluetooth -> tap ht820
    3. tap menu (bottom left) -> connect
    this will connect a2dp profile
    4. launch realplayer

    @y-cyas
    i got it for S$90

    THanks yantz. A friend who has the same phone as me sent me a link:

    http://forums.asia.cnet.com/archive/...hp/t-2090.html

    and both ways work quite well.

    The quality isnt up to snuff with a hardwired connection but its good enough

    it feels like it has too much treble and less bass. i wish realplayer has equaliser. but the headset profile is awesome!! voice is so clear, and the person on the other line can also hear you very very clearly!!

    maybe change the HT820 speakers with the Koss Porta Pro(or Koss Sporta Pro) speakers if possible, that will get a bit more bass and still have good treble.

    Yessa! It really works! I just got my bt headset and the 2 hours wait for the headset to charge up was like bummers!

    Yupsz! E680 flash to E680i works fine with the HT820 BT ST Headset using c5 a4p firmware.

    Now i'm currently using the headset to listen to mp3 bonding with my PC. I got a bt dongle plus BlueSoliel software... yessa, stereo music over bt from my pc.

    Worth it! Priceless!

    Got it for S$80 for a brand new one inside s'pore yahoo auction.

    lol.... i feel so happy the thing works!!

    nope... i'm being eye-ing inside the auctions since in the forums stated tht the headset works wth c5 a4p. in one point of time, i didn't have enough money to use but two days ago, a guy just posted it for $80... i ask my wife for approval, she nod... & i press Enter... lol....

    did urs have charger & warranty card.... i don't have any of those. i wonder if the headset spoil... then how?

    ohh the headset sound better when connecting to the PC since window media has an equalizer. so it is not the headset tht is high in treble.... it is the phone... wonder anyone doing something abt this... equalizer for e680i...

    i'm still struggling doing the flashkit stuff...

    by the way wht happens to the file tht is available at the download area which is yantz created
