    Default Higher Mah Capacity Batteries

Rather than the stock batteries, is there higher mah capacity batteries for use in E680i phones?

how many batteries did you become when you bought your e680? just one?

in singapore, there many seller sold the e680(i) just only with one battery, but normal are two batteries in each e680(i)!
    same with many samsung phones..

i became 2 batteries when i bought my e680, thanks reading the internet about it!

I ordered a 1500mAh battery, but I don't know if it keeps its promises.

    I ordered it at ebay. It's called a Maxcell 1500mAh battery for Motorola V60i V400 E550 E680 T280...

I think I'll get it this week.

I got already one of this. But I sent it back because the original batt lasts a little bit longer. It had never 1500 mAh. They sent me another batt yesterday and we will see how long it will last.

It fits also not as the original batt. It's possible to use it, but it misses two gaps, so it's difficult to get it out of the phone.

I will try some full charge drain cycles and then we will see what is with the new batt. I will try how long it lasts in relation to the original batt with a game or such. But I guess it'll not last longer than the original batt. Though it's cheap, it seems to be poor quality.

    Oh, this sounds bad.
Anyone tried the so called "1000mAh Li-Polymer" battery?

    Default My Review

Now I tested the Maxcell batts and here are my story:

Review of Maxcell batteries from Ebay seller tradekontor24:

    Test device: E680i
    - Bluetooth on but not associated
    - Player with mp3 music on loudspeaker

All tests after min. 3 full charge drain cycles.

    Maxcell, printed 1500 mAh:
start with volume 3 and full batt, 100%
switch to volume 1 after 33 minutes
    Batt 50% after 217 minutes
    Batt 20% after 284 minutes

    Motorola, printed 780 mAh:
start with volume 3 and full batt, 100%
switch to volume 1 after 37 minutes
    Batt 50% after 220 Minutes
    Batt 20% after 390 Minutes

    Summary:
I switched already one batt from tradekontor24 and it's the same odd story. The batteries don't fit exactly because the original Motorola batt has two gaps where at the Maxcell batt are no gaps.

It's possible to get the batt working, but it's hard to get the batt out of the phone because it fits not exactly.

Also, if u look at the above values, the Maxcell batt really don't have 1500 mAh. The maximal capacity is fewer as the original Moto batts (284:390 minutes)! As i tested two batteries from them with the same effect it is no single batt failure.

When I take this, tradekontor24 lies with capacity and fit and I don't know if they lie also with other terms.

The charge for the batt is only 1.99 Euro, but charge for p&p is 4.90 Euro even with insurance within Germany.

Conclusion: U will get a somehow cheap batt with 2 years general warranty from a dubious seller which fits not exactly and has far fewer capacity (I suppose the 1 is a typo and it's only 500 mAh ) as Moto batt for 6.89 Euro.

    + Price
    - Printed capacity definitely wrong
    - don't fits exactly

I sent my batt back yesterday and hope to get my money back shortly. The only reason to buy the batt was to get the doubled capacity. Even if it would last 50% longer it would be ok. But it lasts not longer and I don't need a backup battery, because I may charge anywhere via usb cable. What I also don't know, how long is the battery life?

And, even worse, today they told me, I will not get my money for p&p back. This is unlawful!

I wrote them a mail today and if I won't get my money back I will tell it ebay and issue a court order. They are definitely cheaters, in my eyes. Stay away to buy anything from tradekontor24! I don't know why they have so much positive feedbacks.
