E680i Will not Accept Incoming Calls

For some reason when someone calls me on the phone it will not indicate anything, until they have left a voicemail. Everything else works fine. It has the AEP firmware. Can that be the issue. Can this be flashed to a newer firmware or something stable.

Well, this was discussed before I think. At least there was similar problem.

What happened in the other case is that the cell phone providers had started showing the name of the caller in the caller ID. Unfortunately the e680i does not support this function and wouldn't accept the call. Which is why it would be sent to voice mail. The answer was to call your provider and have them just provide the phone number for caller ID, no additional data.
