BlueTooth Problem

Guys i got a bluetooth problem and this is not a new problem it happened from the beginning but i didnt care at that time

I m serching bluetooth devices (in a crowded cafe) e680 finds many phones
some of them appears its name like john ashley flower etc
But some phones do not appear by its bluetooth name they appear as "phone" list is like that one

Any one experiencing that problem

One of my friend told me that e680 came with bluetooth bugs. Then they revealed E680i for fixing these bluetooth bugs. I kinda believe that.

What do you think???

If i flash my E680 with E680i fw can i fix this bluetooth problem????

its quite possible that the phones labelled 'phone' just happen to have that as their bluetooth profile name and never bothered to update/change it. because before i updated my v600 bluetooth profile, it was just 'v600'.

yes i also thought that
however upon consecutive searches one phone labelled as"tony" can appear as "phone" after a new search.

I was wondering is it me or anybody has experienced such a problem? with e680 (not e680i)

hm, in that case then maybe i should give it a try sometime? maybe more ppl should try it and see if they have the same issue

i have that problem as well.

i can find the other party but cannot send files. the other phone is O2 xphone2, while trying to connect with Nokia, can receive but cannot send.

i face this problem too .. its seem like bluetooth compability problem .. not compatible.. but from e680 to e680i , its can send allmost kind of file ..

I see that e680i has som DRM, I dunno if its forward lock or not. Still a few hours till I get it in my hands. Anyways, my current Nokia 3230 does not let me forward anything including a MIDI file I create on my PC. However, the free ProfiExplorer is using some non-standard APIs which in effect bypasses Symbian's DRM protection. I guess the thirdparty explorers will work once blueZ is figured out.

as i've tested with p800, i can't send .txt but can send .mid, .mp3 .. i think drm just effect on play nor share
