Nobody know about that?
How many contacts can I store inside my PHONEBOOK MEMORY?Is that "unlimited" or memory-dependent? I used to store up to 500 contacts but not FULL !!!
Nobody know about that?
i think its dynamic phonebook
yes it depends on the free memory of your phone memory not the free memory of the sd card.
yep... I think like that its dynamic...
maybe it use berkley DB...
I think all the contact, sms and many stuff are stored in Native.db file, in /ezxlocal/.../. So the capacity is depends on the capacity of the partition where ezxlocal is mounted. I dun know which command is used to check the size of a partition.![]()
try df -h![]()
yes it uses Berkley DB
and yes it is stored in /ezxlocal/sysDatabase/native.db
If you telnet into the phone you can use:
# df -h
watch out for the line /ezxlocal
this shows you the total, free and used memory
ezxlocal is a partition on the buildin flash and is 5,2 MB in size. On my phone with about 40 entries in phonebook and 30 sms stored there are 2,0 MB used and 3,2 MB free.
Every theme with icons that you install will reduse the free memory for sms, mms an addrbook antries. So you shoul use from time to time the unistall script from yantz if you have installed themes created with yantz program.
How can I access "ezx...: folder in Flash memory from my computer?I can't see it there?
Is it necessary to use Linux OS on my PC to communicate well with the fone?
