I got my e680i yesterday. I have been beating my head trying to get it working with Cingular MEdiaNet.
Finally Got it (thank you Elliot GT for the good info above). I also got some up to date setting from cingular support knowledge base

The thing that hung me was Creating the Network. So I though I would post it since I was not able to find any details on Cingular's page. And it was a bit confusing for me

There was 2 things I had to do
1) Create the Network (CINGULAR)
2) Create a profile in the browser (Opera)

Step1.
Go to setup>Data Network
Click icon left corner Select New

Profile Name: CINGULAR
GPRS APN: wap.cingular
User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Time out 15
Don't Check the DNS server (it will be provide once you log in)
Line Type 2: ISDN

Step 2 (Configure the browser)
Click left corner Setup>Profile
Click left corner New

Profile name: Cingular
Gateway IP: 66.209.11.61
Port: 9201
Homepage: http://device.home
Network link:CINGULAR (This is the connection that was created above)
Click Save

Exit
Launch browser and you should see the homepage

Timeout: off
IP: 172.18.19.11

Internet: simply change the access point name to "internet", all other settings remain the same.

my dad gave me his e680, which he got from the ofice.
the thing is that i cant acces the internet because the network data is in Japanese, or Korean, or Chinese... i don't know, the thing is i only know the Arabic alphabet and i can't set it up for US t-mobil

but what should i use as profile name, user, password DNS server(what is it and what should i use?)
