Motorola e680 (flashed to e680i) + 4Gb SD card + HT820 Stereo BT Hedphones,
Ubuntu 6.10 + 7.04,
Nokia N95 + 8Gb microSD
yeah almost all my music files are .mp3 too but ive got a few .wma's and i dont want to convert them or something
Yes, but does it run Linux?
maybe its the version of the media player needed.....like how some are for WMP9 or WMP10. Download this player called JETAUDIO. Very good program where u can rip, convert, burn songs. Even has built in alarm clock n timer. Can play mpegs, avis, wmv, rm, mp3, etc.
I belive you convert you music cd from window media player to wma and save it to your e680. That why you can't play it. Try to convert it from real media player to m4a and download to yr e680 and you should have no problem to play that format.

Thanks, but i already solved it, the problem was that the files had a bitrate of like 1000, which the phone ofcourse cant play.
Yes, but does it run Linux?
an audiofile with a bitrate of 1000?!? wow thats nearly like wav in cd quality
I just checked, its 1024kbps, averaged variable kbps. To be honest i dont hear any difference with a 128kbps mp3![]()
1024Kbit/sec just for music? too much!
on mp3 just 192kbit.(convert from audio-cd to mp3).
on wma -> i dont know.![]()
