wow! are u able to play mp3 songs over with it?
Today I succeeded in setting up a wireless PPP link between my Macintosh and the A780!!!
Right now it only works by hand (I have to run commands via telnet) butat least weI know it can be done
More info ASAP....

haven't tried it. I am trying to build scripts to fire the link up automaticly.Originally Posted by admin
Then I will try to mount a NFS or samba share with mp3's on it.
What's the bandwidth of a serial Bluetooth connection (SPP)?

unfortunately there is no smbfs module in the phone, this means we cannot mount the host filesystem on our phone unless someone has an ARM object module for the smbfs... I am now playing with NFS and it seems to work well (after some tuning)... to answer a previous question yes, you can play mp3's that are on your PC directly without copying themOriginally Posted by y-cyas
The bad news: Windows does not support NFS (it is a native UNIX protocol).
