Not sure: maybe you don't have the correct DNS settings, eh?
If they have an automatic configuration SMS, do that
who has the same problem like me?
after a "Master Clear" from 3-4 weeks ago, i setted up my e680 with the right GPRS settings from vodafone NZ and at first time it worked.
later, one week ago i realized the GPRS does not work anymore and today i called vodafone (new zealand) about that problem but they could not tell/help why does not work anymore.
also MMS and WAP does not work -same problem.
maybe your guys can help me with that problem
for GPRS in New Zealand just put:
name= GPRS Vodafone
APN= www.vodafone.net.nz
and push "OK".
no user name and password requiered.
before i did the "master clear" on the e680, the GPRS work all the time.
maybe i have to flash the phone... or do a "master clear" again first.

i do not need a DNS with vodafone NZ...

Ok - an IP - because on the Moto phone.....never mind, you have an e680. E680 doesn't need a DNS proxy server - which is better than using an IP proxy.
So don't they have an auto config script?
so i configure it out with a service man fdrom vodafone shop.. it was my "old" sim-card that did not work correctly, so, i bought a new one with a new number and since then it works again..
they updated thier gprs network system so my gprs did not work with my old sim card.
but now is good and have NO failures on my e680 with gprs anymore.
thanks to all![]()

i thought thats GPRS do work on the vodafone NZ network now, yes, i did work just for one day long. so i went back to the shop and they told me first that the problem is on my phone, but i tried out on my flatmates phone first, a motorola L6 and also there does my sim-card not work too. later it came out that my new number has problems with the vodafone NZ GPRS systems, because they update thier systems. so i have to way until next friday... :-/
i hope it will work sooner..

I feel sorry for you, y-cyas!
i never use my phone for GPRS because i have a computer with the fast internet so i can browser anything. flash your phone man it's the best idea hahahaha
E680 + E680I G 0D.C5.ABP + 2Gb Sandisk + BLACKHAWK's RockBoX !!! YEAH !!!
Well - the GPRS speed I'm getting from my operator is from 4.5 to 5.5 KBps - which is almost equal to my dialup. Now I'm using dialup simply because there's no delay caused by the airwaves, and it's a heck lot cheaper! (don't have broadband......yet - not even sure if I'll ever get it)
Bonjour Speakerscream, comment ca va?
@shaheer_k
thanks, but its aright.. vodafone should learn a bit of non vodafone live phones...
anyweway i cant use GPRS too much on here -too expensive -10kb = -.10 plus 12% taxe...but in switzerland 100Mb for 20.- in a month..

for me its cool to have internet with opera-mini browser on the phone, because i can use 6 chats which are much cheaper than these expensive sms, and can read my favorite pages, same time i can listen to good mp3's on it.![]()
