Any difference or better between the 2 firmwares...???

I have an E680 which I upgraded the firmware to:

E680I_G_0D.C3.A8P_0D.B0.B1P

Was wondering if the:

E680I_G_0D.C5.A4P or E680I_G_0D.C5.A9P_0D.B3.B1P

is any better? Pros/Cons? Any info or advice would be great & I'm assuming that the:

E680I_G_0D.C5.A9P_0D.B3.B1P

is the latest firmware. Thanks a bunch.

UHMM, Many people said that C5A4P is the most stable firmware. I've been using it for quite a long time.

I need a little help to flashing from e680 to e680i.
I see the howto in yant'z page there's optional step to install CG35 or other CG file so that i don't need to install linloader.
Where can i find CG35 or other CG files??

There's some modified cg35 and cg33, included UNICODE AND EDITABLE GAINTABLE. You can choose which one to download.

The C5A9P is the newer than the C5A4P but it's a branded firmware. It's got some China Mobile features built into it and may not work with all mobile service providers.

I suggest that you use the C5A4P. It's a generic, unbranded, original Motorola firmware and is much more stable and faster that the C3A8p or the C5A9P.

I also suggest using Yantz CG35 because he has removed all the inbuilt midi file and wallpapers (quite often we don't use them). You can even use the ThreeSearch CG33 UNICODE AND EDITABLE GAINTABLE. This modified CG33 replaces Motorola's AMCSL.ttf with tahoma.ttf font and allows you to increase the gain and hence the output from the phone speakers.

How about other app that I got from this forum??

Do I have to uninstall all app that i've installed, such as java app,
neo installer, p1xx3l before flash to E680i??

How about the linloader, do i have to re-install or i don't have to??

Leon_psm CG35 and CG33 is different code group which basically is Compressed FS (file system) image that were writed to your phone flash memory.
