Default Creating Maps for PB use

As PB is a very powerful s/w, u can use it to zoom in / out of images with very high resolution... So if u want to have a map or street directory on ya E680, u can scan in n use PB to view it when u need it.... good for travelling when u r on a holiday..hehe !

In general, according to some pple who tested it, the maps should be resize or crop to 1500x1000 pixel for best viewing... pple lets try it n post up some maps for use....

I would like to request map for the following countries:
    1) Singapore
    2) Malaysia
    3) HongKong

how abt u...?? anyone can contribute??

Well, i guess everybody has to contribute here to make it happen... it is possible... as long as u have the latest map n willing to scan n crop it.... its quite easy... takes up a bit of time only...

Might as well hire a programmer to create an Atlas for E680?

it is possible. but why do atlas imaging? its not pratical.

if u can do something which tell u how far is a certain place, shows u how to get there from start and end point, it would be a more viable program.

using our old street directory, we have to flip and flip to find the place we want. using an e680 will be more difficult, right?

so i think a digital one would be much better, does everything in real time, and uses less space (digital imaging uses alot of space)

hmm... how about creating a program that rips off everything from http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/ ? (offline content)

omg that would own. you'll never get lost in singapore again, with your e680 of course.

I have no idea what PB is, but if you're in the US you can use Synfonic to get text directions. SMS it the address/business/etc. you want and it will give you the address/phone number/directions to it.
