pls read the flashing instruction before you flash your phone -__-" tell us whats your problem exactly!! what do you mean with bricked !!! can you turn on the bootloader? with pushing camera button+on/off button+ volumedown button inthe same time? if your can turn on the bootloader its okay ^^ dont worry .... now the most importantn is you have to rechange your phone again for +/- 3 hours. and then tell with what firmware you want to flash your phone ? ABP? AAP? A4P?

I read the flashing instruction carefully. What I meant by brick is that it now dead and of no use like a brick. Pardon for the term but this is the term used for PSPs when the firmware gets screwed up. Anyway, to start with, I flashed the phone using AEP and after the flashing process where Multiflashflex screen indicated that the flash was succesful, I went on to reboot the phone as per instruction. However after booting, The China Mobile screen flashes and the phone switches off by itself. I checked this by connecting the phone to my PC and waiting for Multiflashflex to recognize my phone which it doesn't. After reading thru the instructions, I found an instruction to reflash the phone again which I did. After which it was still the same. Finally, I reflashed it with ABP as stated in the instruction(Flash with another fw) and while I was doing this, the phone switched off by itself at the point where Multiflashflex was erasing the firmware. I was suspecting that the phone switched off coz it was drained. I made sure that the phone was charged before I went on to reflash but am not really sure why it lost connection and switched off.I was just guessing that the battery must have drained. After that happened, I am unable to switch on the phone. I tried to charge it for 5 hours hoping that it might turn on again to no avail. Would really appreciate it if you could give me some inputs on how to recover since I really hate to see tis phone just go to the dustbin. Thanks in advance.

It means that you cant even turn on the boot loader rite? yes it happened to me too a year ago when i flashed it with AEP ( i used the wrong patch: my fault) you know that e680 needs patch to be flashed with e680i firmware rite? so you need another charged battery because apparently your battery is drained out as you guess. Now you have to find someone to borrow you a full chraged e680 battery and reflash it with the right patch. when i got this problem....

    1. find another battery (sylvain senior member in this forum gave me his battery thx to him now he got a1200)
    2. reflash the phone with the easier FW (mean the fastest to flash) i use AAP

if you want to flash it with AAP fist follow this:

    -download AAP firmware(unbranded) http://sourceforge.net/project/downl..._mirror=belnet

-download AAP CG33 and CG 36 patch for e680(CG33 and CG36 should be copied during "erasing flash memory")
    http://sourceforge.net/project/downl..._mirror=heanet

    - then you reflash your phone with MultiflashFlex easy right ? and during erasing... replace the existing CG 33 and CG36 with the CG33 and 36 patch for E680

    - remember that "FAILED" flashing is normal because we replace the two cg original files so dont worry

thats why i choose AAP to reflash and recover my phone with FW because AAP is easier and its faster ... if you want to stay with AAP its just okay because with AAP you can play GBA with full speed and all application.

    GOOD LUCK

    Hi:

then you reflash your phone with MultiflashFlex easy right ? and during erasing... replace the existing CG 33 and CG36 with the CG33 and 36 patch for E680

How do I do this? Isn't this done automatically once you start flashing?

I explaine you step by step:

so before you flash your phone. in Multiflashfelx program you have to choose the FW.shx file.

    example :
you make a folder AAP in program files>motorola>pst>"AAP" then you copy the FW.shx file : E680I_G_0D.C5.AAP_0D.B4.B1P_T674KV_L002_S019_P004_GSOE680IT674KV007_full.shx
    in that folder.

and then you have to browse the FW file before you run the flashing (i think youve known this one). so choose shx file .

during the "erasing flash memory" you have to copy the CG33 and CG36 patch from threesearch in that folder(the folder you put the FW.shx file) .these two file E680I_G_0D.C5.AAP_0D.B4.B1P_T674KV_L002_S019_P004_GSOE680IT674KV007_fullCG33.smg and E680I_G_0D.C5.AAP_0D.B4.B1P_T674KV_L002_S019_P004_GSOE680IT674KV007_fullCG36.smg
in the folder that you choose the firmware to flash"AAP"

and windows will ask you to replace .. just replace them its okay...

okay now you just have to wait till the flashing is over.

    GOOD LUCK

Hi, one more thing, I just found out that the speaker isn't what it used to be after flashing. The sound from the speaker is now barely audible. I also tested making a phone call and calling the phone itself from another phone and found out that I could barely hear the person on the other line and vice versa. Is there a fix to this?
