    Default E680 as Bluetooth Modem?

    Hello to all c-fus,

I recently bought myself a HP 4150 pocket pc.May i know what should i do if i want to use E680 as a modem for HP4150 to connect to internet?FYI,i'm using Digi unlimited GPRS package.

I can use another phone,Nokia 6600 as a modem with no problem at all. From my setting,i actually found when using 6600 to set as bluetooth modem,i can see my HP4150 asking about what kind of services to provide like :

    1)Dial up Networking
    2)Bluetooth Serial Port
    3)OBEX File Transfer

But this not happen to E680,no services provided appear.....So,do i need to " turn on " anything on my E680 or where did i go wrong?

    Please he.lp,thank u very much

at my side the DUN profile get only activated if i choose "find me" in modem menu entry

other supported profiles are obex-file-transfer, handsfree profile, and headset profile. this are always at my side available if bluetooth is activated.

funny: had a MDA II by telecom, bound it with e680, and it asks, if it should use my phone as bluetooth headset, connection to e680 got established, when call at mda appeared, but nothing to hear in e680

e680i also support SPP and AD2P (AD2P not in flashed version supported)

mpt = Motorola Phone Tools (look in encyclopedia)

for modem application exists a menu entry (by default in category communications) you have to choose "Use: Bluetooth" and than push button "Find me" than you can connect to HP from eg your laptop and use DUN profile.
