Winamp for E6

I saw this wasn't posted yet...there's a working Winamp for the E6. Winamp is a music player for all who don't know. Thanks to dhruv for posting it.

For installation I did the following edits to the registry.txt..

after installing just edit the registery text from domain:untrusted to domain:manufacturer by going in the java folder under the system folder in transflash.enjoy

Make this change in the registry.txt file and it will work.
Mot-JavaVM-Heapsize: 0
Touchscreen kinda works. It will close the app for you.

Anyways, this isn't anywhere near as good as the windows winamp. In fact, it's not very good at all. But It's still fun to see winamp on my e6.

Btw.. The only part of it that's touchscreen is the exit button.

This 1 should work a 100%

When prompted where to install the app, make sure you select the "Memory Card" option and not the "Phone".

After install connect the phone to you PC in mass storage mode.

Browse the memory card into \.system\java\DownloadApps\MIDlet200XXX folder. The XXX should be replaced by the proper number which may be 000 if this is the only java app installed on you memory card.

Make sure that the app is really winamp by checking for \.system\java\DownloadApps\MIDlet200XXX\Files\winamp.jar.

Now edit \.system\java\DownloadApps\MIDlet200XXX\registry.t xt and perform the following steps:
Set DRM: Allowed.
Set Is-Trusted: 1.
Set Domain: Trusted Third Party.
Save and exit the file. Then on phone, highlight winamp, hold down the stylus until the options appear, Options->Manage->Permissions..
Set the User Data Read and User Data Write to Ask Once.
Edit again registry.txt.
This time, set Domain: Operator

Save and exit the file and now your app should run fine!
