Tmobile SIM, E6 reads as Cingular?

I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. When I first got my phone and I inserted my SIM, the phone read it as Cingular. However, my service is with Tmobile. After I did the seem edit for the voicemail bug, it recognized my SIM as Tmobile. But since, it changes back and forth. Well, if I restart my phone, 90% of the time it will say Tmobile, but shortly after it will change back to cingular. Anyone know why?
I mean, I don't really care, but it's just kind of annoying. Has anyone figured out a seem edit to just have the network name removed from the home screen?

When it says Cingular that means that you are currently using Cingulars towers at the time. To check dial 611 when on a cingular tower and you will get cingulars customer service.
