master clear option not available (not clickable ) new unread msgs nt showing in inbox

hi frnds ,
i have motorokr e6 , wen i receive a new text msg notification pops up but wen i go into inbox the new unread msg is not displayed there ,,,i then thought of restoring my phone by master clearing it but wen i went into settings i saw tht my master clear option is nt available ( i mean i can see the master clear option written but it is not clickable )
i hope i m clear with the problem ...
plz help me frnds ,,

kindly tell me the Firmware version or Monsterpack you are using

type "WWW008W" in dial pad to see firmware info
