I Lost my Rokr E6

I lost my rokr e6 recently. i have all the .gho(backup files) in my PC. can anyone help me to restore all the messages & contacts in any other mobile or in a PC through MPT???? kindly help me plz...

Also plz tell me which mobile is similar to rokr e6 to purchase new one.

sorry but you can not restore backup of e6 to other phones
you can restore backup to E6 or A1200 so try to get a A1200 or E6
and there is no easy way to restore sms and contacts.
if you want to restore then may be I can try to restore them for you you just need to send me the backup file

Do not upload your backup file on public place
and if you want me to extract contacts and messages let me know via message

Hi guys, 2 months after i lost my rokr e6 i purchased 2nd hand e6 in hyderabad. the condition & look was good as a new phone. as the there was no charging i asked other battery to check for any problem. all buttons were working fine, so i took for Rs.1900/-. after coming home i found some problems which irritates me even after master reset, master clear & also after flashing with different firmwares.

1. when i click on main screen to watch the wallpaper it shows for a fraction of second & come back again to main screen.
2. In main menu scroll doesn't work. if i try with force then it comes down & will again go back. but scroll is working if use list view instead of thumbnail view.

Both the above problems will work good for few minutes if i restart the phone. but every time i restart the phone other big problem comes for me. i.e, date & time will show 1-1-1970 & time as 5.15. if i still try to use the phone then internet does not connect. it will tell to check the date and time settings.

I understood that its not a firmware problem. Please help me to come out of this problem.

And I would like to thank each and everyone for developing this site which made me to purchase rokr for second time...

It might be possible that the internal battery that is integrated on board so that it runs clock and other minor things on phone has been degraded
or there might be some firmware issues

if you are sure that this is not a firmware problem then I think the phone will need a hardware repair

yea, and the suspecting object is --> INTERNAL CMOS BATTERY failures.
but what about mine?,,,, mine is exactly doing so, 1970

but then I programmed to jump right far away on the year we live now....2011.
i've put it on 31-December-2011 already coz I got no tiny-battery like that yet!

well what about time and date reset not the year as by modding firmware we can set starting year very easily

ehm yea........ I got it from the tag here:

#the earliest year
export EZX_TIMEBEGINNING_YEAR=2011

and it's on cg43/etc/init.d/ezxenvr.sh
