Yes, I am holding on with Night Fox v6. It was surprising though. Only the on-call performance was bad. Otherwise, it worked pretty good !

the dude at the service center said it was the battery

If it was the firmware problem it should have got resolved when you flashed your phone to another firmware. If the problem persists even after flashing, it is time you got your E6 a new battery

Guys I flashed my rokr last year from Nik's black pearl to generic .22p nd lost my battery backup...
to get that back i flashed it to generic .08p nd then to .22p....
i think people which are flashing from .22p to this firmware are facing this problem( just a guess)...
now m planning to flash it to .08p and then to this f/w...
let's c....will tell u my experience soon...
