    SD---2 Gb or SD--4Gb.

    PS-- I currently use 8GB on my phone but your first condition prevents me from suggesting it.

    if 4gb SD doesnt effect my speed then i would like to go for it...Infact i'm looking out for generic speed with more storage capacity followed by other above mentioned requirements..
    BTW thanx for ur response MM.

    @vinayinfo

    Go for 4GB SDHC and not 4 GB SD as SDHC has faster writing speeds, and after flashing to the SDHC kernel, you can detect the card as an external usb device.

    But that kernel has a drawback.It won't let you read small size cards (SD).
    That is a huge disadvantage.Not everybody has a 4GB card.

    Yes thats right dont mess with you SD kernel. Go for 4GB SD its enough and safe as well as stable.

    can i take 2gb>4gb into my final consideration..
    including 2gb speed=4gb speed capacity..

    I suggested the SDHC kernel based on one of your own preferences.

    -should detect as external device when i connect with usb..
    Your normal SD kernel can never read the 4GB card directly through USB. You would need to use Samba or telnet into it, or use a card-reader.

    So, even if you buy a 4GB SD card, you will have to flash with the SDHC kernel to make it accessible as an external usb device.

    The SDHC kernel is very stable and works with my 2GB card.

    Therefore, I suggested the SDHC card, because it will have greater speed than the normal SD card.

    Well, to each his own..
