NOW SUPPORTS DOCUMENTS OF MS 2007 ALSO.
WE CAN NOW OPEN DOCUMENTS IN *.doc *.docx *.xls *.xlsx and may more.

We can also edit *.doc and *.xls

Yea, that's why it's called "Viewer" and not "Editor".

A little more investigation will tell you that the old Picsel Viewer didn't have the edit option either. Probably because that was also called "Viewer", and not "Editor".

Hey xetaman, if you've read the initial post, as good as you read the 'Application Name', you would have realised that you CAN edit xls and doc format files.

Shafii : You can try out the 'HELP' option from the menu. It gives you a clear idea as to how the edit the files.

Though i must say, i have used the old appilcation quite extensively, and have not really managed to find out any editing functionalities.
