    Default You cant

You dont know what you want. You dont know even what you have.

    The E6 is a linux.
The others OSs are binary incompatible.
The others Linux based OSs are hardware incompatible (thanks Motorola! call me when you release the kernel source!)

Technically, you can emulate playstation, gba, DOS and things equally useless.

The best that you can use is Mkezx (discontinued, half broken, you cant receive calls, etc) or OpenMoko (read mkezx) or OpenEZX (read OpenMoko), and believe me, you dont want that.

The BEST that you can get is a good skin, so you can tell your friends "look at me! i have an iphone!" and rejoice.

i have omitted some things, but you can use this as a guide

Take this as half a warning for the future.

Threads asking pretty much "nonsensical" questions, without any homework or prior investigation WILL BE DELETED.

@Brucelee: That sounds good. I'm adding it to the first post

Lolz french fries , E6 . What connection but amusing all the same. If your E6 has been made on a Linux platform then why not run on that only rather leaving it damaged trying to port some other OS . YOu got your PC to do experiments.

Its not a technical problem, its a problem of user perspective. I'm sure that he doesn't care about the concept of emulation, but about a very superficial idea as "how can i do cool stuff with my phone?" and nothing is usable in the e6, except gba and a very limited ps1

in the "technical" part of the emulation, there is no such thing as an "emulator of a phone" for an e6, nor iphone, nor palm os.

the closest thing that i know: POSE

    maybe someone port it someday

Which kernel source? Motorola released the kernel source for E6 some time ago.

And anything else. Thats what an emulator do, it emulates hardware/software.

Really, nobody should use your words as a guide. LOL

im not talking about what an emulator CAN do, but about what is currently implemented for e6. i can remember a wide range from scummvm to dos, but nothing outside gaming

    Sure.

swifty posted about it on motorolafans.com already, but here it is again:
E6 kernel source code: Motorola did it again...

And... I know how to make french fries with any EZX phone too... But as this requires a small hardware mod, I prefer to not teach it here and have newbies causing accidental fires.
