How to remove unwanted icons??

paying 123 bucks for something that I can do much better. No thanks. I would rather go back to WM's Hybrid Firmware. Oh wait, that's exactly I should be doing. Going back to the Non-VR version, cuz I am kinda sick of my phone asking me anytime and everytime to serve a command, even when qeilock is running.

MENTION the new f/w you are trying to flash with.
Reflashing will do the trick the most of the time.

i flashed workingman's latest firmware with VR. and now I am flashing with DAG's multi-lp version. And icons for VR and profileman are still there. Note that both of these applications are not available in DAG's firmware. But I got the icons, after flashing. I haven't restored the data or anything.
By the way, I am switching back to WM's firmware. So, there is no issue for now. ALthough it may come again, when I flash with some other firmware. So, as of now, there is no issue.

>Navigate to QTdownload folder and delete the folders for respective programs you don't want.
>Repack and flash with f/w.
>Confirm if the icons of the removed applications are still present (should not be present).
>Flash with another f/w of your choice.

thanks for that. will try this today. also, can I just delete the folder by telnetting. that way i can save myself a lot of trouble of restoring all my settings.

NO!
You can not.
As I already mentioned that these programs are INBUILT in the phone memory.
You will suffer an exclamation mark problem/instability.
The safest way is to unpack and re-modify the f/w.
