this is a gprs app.
Humm, that's bad to not have a map, but after all, this app seems nice and is free!
Found this related to 8motions (seems to be famous! ) > OpenCellID

Is this want any bluetooth device for working
No, 8motions website ( Mobile Map Toolkit | ) says it works with opencellid... but it's a project, coverage isn't good enough, if you really want localisation in a place there is no opencellid coverage, then you need a (bluetooth) gps. Or an aGPS A780.
If your phone is equiped with a GPS module, you can then participate in Opencellid project, with a specific software from Opencellid, it drains battery fast, but anyway, you only need to use it while you are in a stationnary point. (when you move too fast, accuracy is very bad, so the Opencellid database will be taking care of removing these datas...)
