using e6's net connection in pc..

I want to surf the net in my pc through nop of my rokr e6...in nokia they just change the proxy settings of opera in pc..and it works.... but I think thats not possible in rokr e6...I tried to change proxy of opera in my pc after telneting...but that did not work..can anyone help me..plz??

u can easily do it with the help of motorola phone tools i used to do it before ...........

Thank you so much varun for your concern...but Firstly the thing is motorola phone tools will not connect my e6 with pc through nop...It does so if I have a gprs connection in my phone but not so with nop...are you sure you used nop to connect to your pc..and if so plz share how...

and secondly my motorola phone tools is not detecting my e6..and when I try to update mpt..it says no update avalaible...

So can anyone help me to surf the web from my pc through nop..with or without mpt...

MPT is the only way to do it . I guess.
Please mention your firmware and have you modded it anytime?

i also had the same problem download and install the motorola drivers and the problem will be solved................

Instal Rokr e6 Modem Driver
Connect your phone as modem to the PC
Check connection between modem and PC
-----> Start-control panel-Phone & Modem
your all modem is shown,tap on Motorola and properties and tap on "query modem",...see the result in box,..if succes ,..continew to the next step
if not succes ,check the cable and try plug the usb cable to the other port.

-----> Create New Connection
*Start-control panel-network Connection-create a new connection-next-next-Set up manually-next-Type ISP NAME (exp=indosatgprs)-Type phone number to dial - Not u'r phone number ( in my country is *99***1# or ask the provider to know the number )
-Username(ask u'r provider)
-Password(Ask u'r provider)
-confirm password(same with password)
follow the step until FINISH

*EXTRA SETTING(ask u'r provider to know the code of extra setting )
-start-control panel-phone n modem-motorola-properties-tap on advance-and type the parameter of extra setting exp = AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","indosatgprs" and APPLY or OK


Setting is finished.
Open the new connection wich u created,...and DIAL

Thank you all ...I am done with my motrola phone tools.. I can now connect my e6 with mpt..... But cant use nop on my pc..I did exactly what Victoriousxxx said...but invain...it is not completing its dialing..any other way guys???I use vista..

nop is net on phone
you cant use the nop's net on pc......
i use nop & cant connect to pc.....
if you use gprs then & then only you can connect.....
if mpt you use no matter what os you use..

nop will not work i guess, use Mobile Office connection
