Hi guys....
I bought my Rokr e6 10 months ago and now i would like to experiment my phone with some other firmwares.plz let me know ,will i have any problems in future if i flash with new kinda firmwares.And also iam left with 2 more months for warranty period to vanish.
if there is no problem with flashing plz temme wat are the best firmwares i can use for my mobile.
And also i want to know that if i want to have my own generic firmware how to get back after flashing....

If you want to experiment, you can do so IF you are not bothered about warranty. Otherwise, I'd say wait out the 2 months since you've got a decent enough firmware, only issue is no startup scripts in it, which would not exactly be a huge problem for the average modder.

Startup scripts are commands that the phone will run on booting up. This is done via a startup.txt file, where the commands are written. You can use this method to mount files or folders to the phone system, as well as running certain applications at startup. Read the guide to modding the e6 and a1200 for more details.

Also, give me a link of the theme you want help with. Ill see what I can do

yah konig is right better way if you are bothered for the warranty....
but in my case it's not thought coz "if you flash your phone with good a firmware the one that doesn't gonna brick your phone"...your still gonna get your warranty..as long as the hardware is okay....

mine i flashed my E6 4 months after i bought it...after that i dont wanna go back to my old firmware...it's not just i don't have one..but the firmwares that came from this site. and with the help of some modders in here...you'll be safe..

beside these fws that i've used..they have different capability and add ons
etc...so for me..these 3 fW are good..

can you make the FW a bit smaller? let say replace the internal iconrez instead 3MB,, 1MB maybe...1 skin atleast the basic one..
we can install skin using skin asst and instheme from mmc..so maybe..
for from 8M internal memory,,12or 16MB free for user....tnxs...i tried to mod it using ezxcoder but no success..

hope modders..can help these thing....

LOL. its just not possible! The iconres.ezx has to be that size as it includes ALL the icons for that firmware. Any new theme that misses any icon will pick it from there only.
