    well...after read what openmoko did....this getting more interesting...i thoughts it might possible....but still...is it enough power to play *.vob(dvd) file with more or less 2 hours long....i mean did our 1000mA (my e6) battery could handle the power and the big maybe huge data transfer both in the certain time constanly...it's ain't funny while we watching the movie and the phone suddenly death because of the battery is out of power.......and hell yeah...i hope this dream can be true....

    Hmmm, good questions
    vob files are mpeg.
    i think the data transfer is not the problem.
    the battery lifetime can a limitation.
    to go back ontopic:
    the first few posts in this thread gave the right answer.
    that was the reason for me to hijack it

    wow what was the topic and where it is heading now external dvd player for e6 heheh why would any 1 wanna wach dvd on a small screen

    @motojari i don't think dvd player application is new!! u can easily find it 4 Symbian OS.

    hi all my bro, pleas dont negative thinking. why we dont wan dvd player for our phone. i really really wan watch dvd in my small screen. this is cool idea

    But swifty! the 2nd point in the first link itself makes it very clear that the Neo CAN maintain the 5V across VCC. This, i beleive is a hardware level change, and not much we can do about it.

    The specialized USB cables are interesting, but evidently, they will work only with specialized ports
