It has already been discussed many times but as far as i know this feature is supported mostly by nokia phones ( my N96 supports it ;p) and E6 does not allow it.
For the same kind of feel , you may try using custom screensaver applications in the forum.

can videos be set as ringtones?
Can we set videos as ringtones?It would be really good.We cud make a video of our frnd and set it as ringtone....
Modded .08p f/w.exmms player.custom skin.custom splash.screenshot capture.screensaver app.
