I have copied the .system files into my memory card and resbooted my phone but when I try to open file with .pkg ( I even tried to using open with ) but still says invailid application file.

First of all,You don't have to COPY the system files in root of memory card.

You have to replace the entire system folder on the card(the one present from before ).It can only be viewed by selecting ''VIEW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS'' in xp. Then backup your old .system and replace the one I am providing.

Replace with this:

Then reboot your phone.

If pkg's still don't work as the case should be in your f/w .22p generic , then flash to a modded f/w.e.g. Konig's .22p v2.

generic 22p doesn't support mpkg files directly, the only way is to flash your firmware (konig version 2, nik's black diamond are modified one supports all)
