Thread: Can't receive calls!!! (only text)

Default Can't receive calls!!! (only text)

ok guys. a few days ago, something strange happened. my cellphone randomly stopped being able to receive calls. i didn't change anything on the phone itself, i tried using multiple phones, and all i got was a dial tone, but nothing on the cellphone's side. i made sure the reception was perfect, and the number was the same. though i can still receive text messages perfectly.

so i tried to isolate the problem. i switched sim cards with my mom's cellphone. my sim card works on her phone (so sim card is fine), and her sim card works on my phone (wtf??). then i thought, ok maybe the settings on the phone were messed up with my sim card, so i did the master reset. didn't fix it. i also made sure the antenna was on and such. i have no idea wth is wrong. any ideas? thanks in advance

Well, if all else fails, you could try a flash and see if that helps.

flashing? is that necessary? r u sayin that my phone randomly became corrupted? is it possible i may have done something menu wise and turned something off (that only effects my sim card?).

    just what i thought..

did you by any chance get the caller id enabled?

FIDO users have reported this issue when call ID is activated..

    here's a recent example :
