newbie - mtorokr e6 is hanging

Hi frns,'
i bought motorokr E6 just a week bfr, it was fine only..but its hanging and wen i try 2 open BCR it says that 'Phone Memory is Full, can't perform the Operation". i don't know any technical details.Can any1 help me plss

Goto Taskmanager and end other applications which are running

Note that unlike most other phones, the red button (End call button) will NOT close any applications that you may have opened. It will only minimize them. Pressing the same key again will bring them back from the minimized state.

The only way to close applications are:
1. Clicking the X in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Using the Task manager as reported above.

So CLOSE your applications when you are done with them, do not minimize them.

Yup Tats correct.....never press the red button to close any app....
it only minimizes it...........
use the properclose method r use t task manager to close it

try other firmware which supports multi java applicaions means u can run more applications at one time

Well, welcome to MotorolaFans

'Phone Memory is Full

It can mean two things.

1. Your phone is running too many applications. To make some applications stop follow what xetaman said.

The only way to close applications are:
1. Clicking the X in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Using the Task manager as reported above.

So CLOSE your applications when you are done with them, do not minimize them.

Or 2. Your phone doesn't have enough space and may have to uninstall for applications you have.

To uninstall:
1. If .jar application, hover over the aplication and hold for a few sections.
2. Side menu should pop up.
3. Find uninstall and should install.

What happened here? Banupriya him/her self did not even respond to it!!
