great job guys...but i have a bit of a problem
i made a custom boot image but it keeps cutting off a bit of the picture...help?

if your image is too large it will truncate (cut off), try reducing the SIZE of your image.

From the Guide to modding

"One important note: if you decide to install some other boot image with these instructions, the image has to be small enough in byte size to install correctly. The image itself should be 240 x 320 in resolution, but we discovered that if the byte size of the file is too large, the image will get truncated. "

Hi bruce,

I wrote a script to do the bootimg changing easyly.

1. Create a folder "bootimg" at your SD card.
2. put the gif file in the folder with the name boot.gif (all small). Make sure the file is not animated and less than 20KB.
3. Download attached file, put it in "bootimg" folder.
4. Start eKonsol,
5. Go to /mmc/mmca1/bootimg (i.e. cd /mmc/mmca1/bootimg).
6. type ./bootimg.txt and hit return button.

and you are through.

hi bruce lee this app not work for me in econsole when i type enter then its always says font dir not exists problem i am using 08pfw

That is because you don't have econsole instaled on your phone! First install econsole and than it will work!

Well i don't know about that gagi i never turned a plugin into a standalone app so i can't promiss anything.
The first step would be to tell me where to get rockbox with that plugin as i have a rockbox with no plugins

Here it is both portrait and landscape...put in rockbox .system/qtdownload/rockbox.portrait/archos/rockbox.portrait/apps

Or were you have and how install your rockbox and DO IT!

it seems is not working for anyone, dont get angry for my question, i know u get angry easily.

it definitly works now. i changed my boot image 5 or 6 times untill now so it works
