Problem in installing MKPG installer in ROKR E6

Hi, just two days back I got a brand new Motorkr E6. I installed scientific calc(got from this forum) in my phone and install virendictionary in my card.

For installing .pkg file I refered all the things which is mentioned here in this forum i.e. copy the .system file in the card, tap and hold the .pkg file and open with MKPG Installer which ended with the the error message

Invalid Application file
The file can't be used

I followed almost all method by copying .system file from
"smartasst2_3_549","System - Fresh Install",
"ezxmpkg_installer_e6_101_en_182" for installing MKPG Installer.

I think i missed something somewhere. Can any body please tell me how can I install the mkpg installer in my Motorkr E6. I appreciate any kind of suggestion.

what is your firmware version?

I dont think 10p supports Mpkg.

E6 users should be able to confirm that.

you will have to flash to a firmware that supports mpkg

10p generic does'nt support mpkg, u have to flash ur phone...flash with muzix or 10p auto swap..

no, i think it does. there must be something else! did you install a fresh .system folder, turn your phone off& on, tap on mpkg icon, select properties, than try opening a .pkg file. maybe it works? first install mpkg, than linloader than smartass, may be it solve your problem

Hi anurag,

From your user information I think you are also using Motorokr E6 with firmware version .10P. So can you able to install MPKG installer in your hand set. If so then please send your .system folder and then I'll try in my handset and then I'll tell you.
I tried a lot to install it and desperate to see working MKPG Installer in my E6.

of course i had.BUT i flashed it. just for fun.Sorry i can't help you that way. may be a flash is a good idea
