Can you post what usb driver you used to make it work? I tried MPT v5 and same it does not detect my E6.

EDIT: Found the culprit. Updated my firmware and it now works.

does anybod give the link to MPT v5.10 as i cant update becoze i use my e6 as my modem (by using MPT v4)so without MPT i cant updaqte so i have to download it from manually ...can anybody gv sum help regarding this ...as mine too not recognising my e6....

MPT versions > 5 will NOT recognise E6.

hiii frends....

welll i think evrey one is having problem with reckognizing the e6 with the new MPT v5..well i got a solution for it...if anyone want to use the MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS v5..just do wat i say...well i just sat with it how to make it work and i made it work....as i found this solution a long way back but i was so lazy to put it in this forum..

just before duin this fully uninstall the MPT previous version and installed motorola pc drivers watever may be the version...

1st just install the MPT v5 as normal as u install a softawre ...afterwards just just close the MPT v5 and then connect the MOTOROLA e6.ok..til then dont install any motorola drivers ok..after that go to MY COMPUTERS DEVICE MANAGER there u will get a option of MODEM then click on it then click on the MOTOROLA USB MODEM the right click to update driver and just direct it towards the extracted motorola drivers...u can get it in this forum search on it ....but e6 shud be connected to the pc while updating the drivers ....if any one having problem just let me kno i will put the extracted drivers in this post ..ok..frends enjoy...i hope this will be helpful for u all...

MPT version 5 is good but .......you cant even create a folder throught this version

I BET YOU MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS VER 5 WILL DETECT YOUR ROKR IF YOU FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY ;
1 FIRSTLY "UNINSTALL" ALL YOUR PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS
2 THEN "UNINSTALL" ALL THE DRIVERS I.E MOTOROLA USB DRIVERS
3 RESTART YOUR COMPUTER
4 INSTALL MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS VRESION 5 THEN CLOSE IT
5 START THE APPLICATION , "THEN DO THE NORMAL PROCEDURE AS IT SAYS" ITS VERY IMPORTANT YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS STRICTLY
6 HERE YOU ARE DONE YOUR PROBLEM MIGHT BE SOLVED .
