Mg Maps Offline --working!!!!!

Yea well, that's because of the file storage. Even on your comp, if you right click on any folder, and click "properties", you'll see two different sizes. One is Size of the folder/file itself, and another "Size on disk".

What it means is that, even to store the names and the fragmentation information of the file, there would be more space required. Hence.

Hey! Great - worked fine first time off! Using the attached Chennai maps I could 'zoom' in to 1 Km resoultion. Thanx pal!

I tried to download the maps for 20 resoultion. It works but still I am not able to proceed beyond 300m resoultion. and that too am able to see only few 'tiles'

Is it possible to have more than one set of cache? and see it all together in the phone, ie, without having to change the cache folder.
For example, i have
0-16 hybrid: bangalore
0-8 hybrid: india
0-5 hybrid: world
0-16 hyrbid: london

do i have to store these on the phone as separate caches, and change my cache folder and restart application everytime? or can i combine them somehow, that they all appear together?

@tan: i have 0-16 hybrid bangalore map, but it's around 250mb. I dont think posting it here will be a good use of the server space. So if you have some other place where i can put it up, plz let me know. And dont say rapidshare, I'm not doing the splitting and stuff.

@jpanchal: If nothing else works, go to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall the software. Then download and install again. That should do the trick.
