    Default I killed my /etc/fstab

    Hey all,

i was telnet-ing into my fone, and i used vi to edit /etc/fstab and i wanted to add this line to it .

    /mmc/mmca1/ramm swap swap pri=42 0 0

but when i tried to save and quit , it did but the fstab became empty.

    Also when i try to do a echo "/mmc/mmca1/ramm swap swap pri=42 0 0" cat > fstab

it errored out saying permission denied.

I am logged on as root ! :-s

    am i missing something here?

It's a firmware. you need to get a sbf file and extract it to files, edited, and flash it back to your phone.

only ezxlocal, ezx_user, tmp, ram and mmc/mmca1 that can writable
