Problem telnetting

I have previously telnetting without a problem. But after flashing 08P (aksd's), I am having problems.
Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed

My pc is being assigned an ip of 192.168.16.2
But when I run ifconfig in the phone (through econsole), it shows its assigned a ip of 192.168.1.2

Maybe thats the problem?, help!

Already tried, no dough.

weird...had the same prob after i flashed the phone over the weekend...
i fixed it though!! lol just install the whole thing again..m takin a wild guess tht u just inserted ur mem card after flashing n tried to telnet, i did the same before reinstalling the app

I fixed it.
As I said the phone itself was getting assigned 192.168.1.2
So I changed my pc's ip manually from 192.168.16.1 to 192.168.1.3 and its working fine now
