Thread: **Guide to Telnet into the E6**

    Guyz... sorry to be a Little annoying but what is Telnet? i managed to get everything correct but all i see is phone files? cant copy anything into it.. and by the Name USBnet.. i thought we can use our Computers internet on the Phone.. id love to do tht.. plz help me.. thx

    I have successful done upto 13 points after that both the procedures

    1. telnet 192.168.16.2
    2. Then in the cmd prompt, type telnet. u will get a change in the prompt (it changes to telnet)
    now type "open 192.168.16.2 23"

    are not working for me...

    Same problem ""Connecting To 192.168.16.2...Could not open connection to the host, on port 23:
    Connect failed" "

    Come into the picture..What shall in do ...Please suggest...

    In absence of any other fix that I know of currently, what I need to do to telnet is:
    Connect phone to pc, put in USB LAN mode.
    Run ifconfig usbl0 192.168.16.2 command in ekonsole.
    Then telnet works fine

    Alternatively you manually configure your pc's ip address to 192.168.1.1 so you won't have to run any commands everytime you wan't to telnet


    Also, there's a much shorter and much simpler way to telnet now using Eakrin's USB Changer.
