Administrator, Moderators and all at motorolafans,
anyone use RadioComm flashing new firmware before ???

WARNING:
Use / Flash at Own Risk.
1. backup all your phone memory data, sms, mms and etc
using Motorola Phone Tools or other backup software
because all data will be gone after flashing.
2. fully charged your motorola phone battery.
3. remove SIM card and SD memory card.

SOFTWARE NEEDED:

1. Download & Install RadiComm v11.6.2

2. Download & Install Motorola USB Driver v3.5.0

u may try this method (change setting from E6 to A1200)

A1200 Setting
Put your phone into Motorola Bootloader Mode (MBM):
In order to flash your A1200 Handset, it must be in MBM Flash mode.
This is an administrative tech mode and your handset screen will be red.

A1200 MBM Mode: With your phone turned off, press and hold the "Center Joystick Button"
on the face of the phone and the "Voice Command Button" on the right side of the phone.
With these two buttons pressed down, press the red "Hang-Up / Power Button" once.
Your phone will turn on and enter MBM Mode.

Easy Done In 3 Simple Step
E6 - Flashing With RadioComm Software.


E6 Setting
a) power-off E6
b) hold on camera button and power-on button together
c) appear red screen " MBM Flash Mode "

1st
refer attach RadioComm & Flash 01.jpg for detail
a) connect E6 to windows xp thru usb cable
b) launch RadioComm software ...
Radio Detection turn Green Color and Flash Mode appear

2nd
refer attach RadioComm & Flash 02.jpg for detail
step 1 - click " Features - Flash "
step 2 - click " Browse - New Firmware "
step 3 - checking new firmware file choose
file processing complete - " OK - Green Color "
step 4 - click " Start Flash "
pls wait, it will take approx 15 minutes to complete
step 5 - Flashing BP Complete - " Done - Green Color "

3rd
a) closed RadioComm software and
unplug usb cable from windows xp and E6
b) restart / power-on E6
c) type WWW008W to confirm "New Firmware"

FYI
u may needs to enable Alpha's Quadband & Edge Script again
using RadioComm software after each time flashing take effect

Well, this is what happened in my case.
BTW, this is my first Flash and original version was 02P

Just did the flash, but:
step 5 - Flashing BP Complete - " Done - Green Color "
didn't happen, instead at the end the cel restarted on its own and RC screen lighted red and stated:
"Flash - failed"
I followed the rest of your instruction and phone has some small changes and some extra icons but i have original icons and they didn't change appearance like i've seen in some pics posted.
I checked to see the version and what do you know it stated "22P" version.
I don't know if instruction need to be changed according to new RC version looking from those pic's when you go from features->flash then M-Flash window opens up like its shown in fig2 but in RC 11.7.4version M-Flash window didn't show instead it did the whole process in its very own window and i didn't even press "flash" or "start" to initiate the process as soon as i picked/choose the E6 version it started the process by itself.

I don't know if something went wrong or the whole thing didn't work, I don't have any new ring tones or new wallpapers but i do see some new icons/programs and master security isn't working anymore.

So far calls are working and text is working, will report more if something goes wrong.

Use this method only when you can't get RSD lite process to work.
The RSD lite process is the safest and secure.

I just did it again with RSD lite and this time i got "PASS" statement from it.
On the other hand it still looks the same as , no changes to different icons but just few new icons/programs

I don't know, it looks pretty much the same , nothing has changed as far as i can tell.

You are talking in vague.What do you mean by new icons and what are those?

What was your original f/w and what f/w are you trying to flash to.

I had 02P f/w , never flashed it before so this is first flash to 22P f/w
New icons are : Moto Music, backup, music id, motorola setup.
Every other icon's where there.
First i had got "Flash - Failed" and then i got "passed" , but after all i haven't seen the changes that i've seen on some pic's that i've seen posted in here.

surprised that i didn't see same changes as everyone else has.
